Powell Welding Repair is the repair and fabrication side of Powell Welding Ltd. We are a small team of welders who take on the jobs that need a careful hand: cracked gates and railings, worn machinery parts, broken brackets, and one-off pieces made to a drawing. We work in mild steel, stainless and aluminium, and we are just as happy with a ten-minute repair as with a full fabrication run.

Most of what we do starts with a phone call or a message like the one on this page. You tell us what has broken or what you need made, and we tell you honestly whether it is a job for us. If it is, we agree a price and a date before any work starts, so there are no surprises when you come to collect it or when we pack up on site.

Our workshop handles bench work, cutting, forming and welding, and we keep a van kitted out for mobile repairs. That means we can weld a farm gate back onto its hinge in the field, or repair a balustrade in a stairwell where nothing can be taken apart. For bigger jobs we will come out and look first, then quote from what we have actually seen rather than a guess.

We are not a large company and we do not pretend to be. What we offer is a welder who knows the trade, a clear price, and a finish that will hold. Whether it is a one-off bracket for a workshop or a run of identical frames, we treat each job the same way: measure twice, weld once, and check it over before it leaves our hands.
